Noble's Conduct
Above all, treat others as you would like to be treated.
Each Noble Member of MacLaaran needs to pick a job. When You come into the room, it will be assumed that You've done Your regular work for the day. Even with that said, the job You choose will still be a big part of your roleplay. If You aren't involved in the current roleplay, You will still need to find something to do. Sitting around not posting doesn't do us any good. For new Members, talk with a Council member about which jobs are available.
The servants of MacLaaran are here by choice, so please give them some attention when they are serving You. As a Noble, You are to be shown respect, but please keep in mind that the servants work hard to be pleasing.
Magic IS allowed here, but it is very limited. You may only use your "powers" to be helpful and entertaining... NEVER to harm another person.
Dualling and gender-bending will not be allowed. One character per person, at a time please. The ONLY exception to this will be when a NPC (non-playing character) is used. If you want to add a NPC to the role play on a permanent basis, let a Council member know, so that he/she can be added to the website.
Relationships can be complicated online... and we ask that before entering into one, you take some time before jumping into it. At least 2 months time will be required before the Council will approve a marriage license. Also, although this is a role-play room, there is a real live person behind that computer screen. Please be mature about ending relationships, or adding a servant to the mix as well. You can have as many wives or servants as You wish, as long as EVERYONE involved is in agreement. | Owning a servant is a responsibility not to be taken lightly! You cannot expect to earn a servant's loyalty, love and respect if You have not also earned it. Just as we ask for time to develop a relationship with another Noble, we ask the same for a servant. At least 2 months time will be required before the Council will accept r/p of servant ownership. At that time, You and the servant may change the html tags. Once You own a servant, You are indeed his/her Owner BUT that servant is still going to be held to the same standards as any other servant in MacLaaran. If Your servant is found to be misbehaving, he/she will be corrected if You are not present. When You are present, it will be Your responsibility to guide and further train Your servant. Striking a servant in anger is not allowed, under any circumstance. In the bedroom (PM), You are free to be as kinky as you wish. |
